Piquet Hill Stud was started by Peter Jackson in 1966. Sons, Tom and William Jackson joined the breeding operation in 2003 and in 2013 completed the purchase of the farming business.

Piquet Hill Farms comprises approximately 1700 hectares, the majority of which is tough hill country. It has always been operated under an easy-care policy with no shepherding to ensure sound and hardy breeding.

The major emphasis for the Stud has always been on fertility, growth rate, wool weight and facial eczema tolerance.

Expanding on the success of their rams, Piquet Hill Farms are excited to now provide quality breeding bulls to the dairy industry.
